Opportunity: Corporate Accounting Manager

The Corporate Accounting Manager will play a critical role in leading the day-to-day execution of the company’s financial reporting and corporate accounting functions. This individual will oversee the accounting team, ensure accurate and timely reporting, and support the Controller in driving best-in-class processes and internal controls. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, a desire to optimize and enhance processes, and a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.

Essential Job Functions
Financial Reporting
- Oversee preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Partner with FP&A and operations teams to provide insights that drive business performance.
- Manage the coordination and completion of external audits, including serving as the primary liaison with external auditors.
- Research and assist with the implementation of new accounting standards as required.
Corporate Accounting
- Lead the daily operations of the corporate accounting function, including general ledger, reconciliations, and consolidations.
- Lead the shared services function, that services the accounting needs for 240+ properties.
- Oversee and review month-end close processes to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Develop, document, and maintain effective accounting policies, processes and internal controls.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
- 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Public accounting experience (Big 4 or mid-tier) strongly desired.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
- Experience with multi-entity consolidations; hospitality or real estate industry experience a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
