Compensation: $130,000 to $160,000 per year

Opportunity: Senior Area Director of Finance

Supervise and direct the financial activities of a cluster of full-service hotels, safeguard assets, and prepare financial reports in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards.

Your Focus

  • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values.

  • Analyze financial data of hotel operations within the cluster to advise hotel management and assist in maintaining efficient operations.

  • Monitor and approve all sales, purchases, salaries, and expenses of the hotels.

  • Prepare, review, and present the Monthly Report of Operations for each property.

  • Develop and manage consolidated forecasts and budgets as required (annual, revised annual, monthly, and/or upon management/owner's request).

  • Ensure payroll practices across all hotels meet Fair Labor Standards Act requirements.

  • Oversee contracts, legal agreements, and assist hotel management in maintaining licenses, permits, insurance, and contracts across the hotel cluster.

  • Establish and audit internal financial controls, including purchasing, cash handling, disbursements, inventories, hotel equipment, master keys, and associate time records.

  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.

  • Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.

  • Perform other duties as requested by management

Your Background and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.

  • Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience in the hospitality industry, with familiarity with branded hotels.

  • Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends.

The compensation range for this role is $130,000.00-$160,000.00 and the determined salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience within the industry.
