Waxing Specialist

Cerulean Spa at Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa is looking for a dedicated and skilled Waxing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty and personal care, with expertise in providing high-quality waxing services. As a Waxing Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional hair removal services, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism.

The compensation of this position is completely comission based.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Waxing Services: Provide a range of waxing services, including facial, body, and bikini waxing, in a professional and hygienic manner.
• Client Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and any skin sensitivities.
• Preparation and Aftercare: Educate clients on pre-waxing preparations and post-waxing care to ensure optimal results and client satisfaction.
• Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area. Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure client safety.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest waxing techniques, products, and trends. Recommend appropriate products and services to clients.
• Customer Service: Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients. Address any concerns or questions they may have and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Must hold a valid esthetician in CT.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Waxing Specialist or similar role. Proficiency in various waxing techniques.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of skin types, hair growth cycles, and waxing products.
• Skills: Excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and dexterity. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professionalism: High standards of personal hygiene and grooming. Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Clientele: Existing clientele preferred, but not necessary.
