Opportunity: Private Dining Sales Manager

Private Dining Sales Manager will serve as a sales driver for event and group dining sales for Donna Mare Italian Chophouse. The Manager will engage in active outreach avenues, including attendance at offsite events, driving awareness, engagement, and traffic to Donna Mare Italian Chophouse by fostering relationships with tastemakers, influencers, local business partners, concierge teams and more. This role will act as a brand ambassador for Donna Mare Italian Chophouse ensuring that we are at the forefront of the local social and dining conversation and culture. This role combines relationship building, event curation, marketing strategy, and brand collaboration, making it an integral part of Donna Mare Italian Chophouse’s mission to build community around our restaurant and deliver unparalleled guest experiences.

Essential Job Functions

  • Build and nurture relationships with corporate and social event planners and hosts to ensure Donna Mare Italian Chophouse is at the forefront of their options for events fostering loyalty and repeat business
  • Develop a detailed database of key sales and events targets, tracking touchpoints and opportunities
  • Review and execute on monthly goals for outreach, lead generation, and event bookings Serve as the primary client contact from inquiry to completion
  • Manage sales cycle for on-premises large groups and events
  • Conduct property site visits highlighting cross-selling opportunities
  • Clearly define guest expectations, anticipate needs, and ask questions to ensure a positive experience
  • Maintain a positive, service-oriented approach with a hands-on work ethic Collaborate with the restaurant operations team for special requests and communicate all client expectations
  • Create event BEOs, coordinate vendors and maintenance of accurate event, payment and customer records in Open Table
  • Develop leads, up-sell events, and book restaurant private event functions Create proposals and contracts for groups and events bookings, exercising a thorough understanding of menu and property logistics
  • Manage contract negotiations between customers and property
  • Collect and share client feedback with the management team
  • Flexibility to work both daytime and evening shifts is essential
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program. Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards Perform other duties as requested by management

Position Requirements

  • Degree or certification from an accredited culinary program preferred
  • 3 years’ experience in a high volume foodservice establishment required
