Your Focus

  • Drive Market Leadership: Position Hilton Carillon Park as the premier business and meetings hotel in St. Petersburg, known for exceptional service, modern amenities, and trusted corporate partnerships.

  • Strategic Sales Growth: Lead efforts to expand key market segments including corporate, group, and leisure, developing targeted account strategies that maximize revenue and market share.

  • Partnership Development: Build lasting relationships with local and regional organizations, universities, and corporate accounts to strengthen community ties and drive repeat business.

  • Client Engagement: Foster meaningful connections with clients through personalized outreach, site experiences, and service follow-up that reinforce the Hilton brand promise.

  • Team Leadership: Motivate, develop, and mentor a results-driven sales team focused on collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Revenue Management, Catering, and Operations to align sales initiatives with occupancy, pricing, and profitability goals.

  • Commercial Strategy: Contribute to the hotel’s overall commercial plan through analysis of market trends, comp-set performance, and forward-looking revenue opportunities.

  • Digital Presence: Ensure the hotel maintains a strong online and social presence consistent with Hilton standards and supportive of group and transient business.

  • Community Representation: Serve as a brand ambassador within the local business and tourism community, representing Hilton Carillon Park at key industry and networking events.

  • Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by hotel and corporate leadership.

Your Background and Skills

  • Four-year college degree required; additional/advanced degree coursework in business administration, marketing and communications a plus.
  • Previous sales experience in a comparable hotel size and scope required with operations experience preferred.
  • Public relations and community marketing experience required.
  • Proficient in use of Excel, Word, Delphi and access database tools.

Work Environment and Context

  • Work schedule varies and may include occasionally working on holidays, weekends.
  • Required to sit for extended periods, lift up to 10 pounds, bend, reach, use hands and fingers to operate keyboard.
  • Moderate travel between hotel and client’s locations required.
