Position: Accounting Manager
Oversee and perform hotel accounting functions to ensure consistent compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and deadlines.

Essential Job Functions
- Plan and organize the work of the hotel accounting functions, adjusting priorities as needed to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
- Review all ledger account reconciliations to include: bank statements, assets, and liabilities.
- Ensure the hotel complies with USALI and HHM accounting standards, controls, and procedures.
- Process, review, and manage all Accounts Payables in accordance with established brand and hotel standards.
- Process, review, and manage all Accounts Receivables in accordance with established brand and hotel standards.
- Administers house banks and conducts audits.
- Prepares daily cash and check deposits.
- Prepare and post month-end and other journal entries.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements for accuracy.
- Provide research, analysis and insight into financial trends, statistical ratios, budgeting and forecasting.
- Monitor records of inventory to control accuracy of supply distribution.
- Analyze financial data and operations in order to assist and advise management in maintaining the hotels’ financial objectives.
- Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
- Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent industry experience required.
- Prior management experience preferred.
- Hospitality experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications (including intermediate skills in Excel) required.
